To do the profession of hairdresser you must have primary education and obligatory secondary education.

You can decide between studying two years you got out as an auxilary or you can decide to study four years. The first two years teach you the basics: mark, dry, cut basic and the cut of boy. They also teach you something of esthetics but the essentials. The other two years serve you to specialize. For example in pickups, makeup and all kinds of cuts. In addition, the theoretical part is complemented with the practices in the same center, both in the first two years of studies as in the last two years.

A hairdresser is a person whose occupation is to cut or style hair in order to change or maintain a person's image. This is achieved using a combination of hair coloring, haircutting, and hair texturing techniques. Most hairdressers are professionally licensed as either a hairdresser, a barber or a cosmetologist.

Most stylists or hairdressers work in a salon that is generally clean and well-lit. Some resorts, cruises and hotels also employ hairdressers as a service for their guests. A limited number of hairdressers offer their services to people who can not leave their homes, hospital patients or residents of nursing homes.
